An interesting article that may change the way we dive. New materials are being developed that absorb and release oxygen directly from water. That means you wouldn't need your scuba tank anymore. Just a small regulator with a tiny amount of this material. Think of the possibilities!

Victory for Manta Rays and Sharks at CITES

The "Convention for International Trade on Endangered Species" recently placed new restrictions on the capture of five species of sharks, including oceanic white tips, porbeagles, great hammerheads, scalloped hammerheads and smooth hammerhead, as well as oceanic and reef manta rays and three species of freshwater stingrays.
