Mt. Etna Rock Quarry

Mt. Etna Rock Quarry is another quarry owned by Schildberg Construction Company.

The Greater Des Moines SCUBA Club has obtained permission to dive there and G.O. SCUBA has been diving with them. There are lots of friendly blue gill and largemouth bass. Visibility on July 28, 2019 ranged from 5-15 ft. Temp above the thermocline was 77 degrees.
